After Pentecost Sunday, the disciples and new followers of Jesus were challenged by God. It's a difficult call that WE still face today: To be the kingdom of God here on earth. But living in the spirit was hard back then and it's still hard. Deceitful actions and selfishness...sin, it tested what God wanted them to do. But there were those who stuck to it, who followed what Jesus had taught and what the spirit had moved in them. Despite everything against them, they lived in the spirit. Today, we can, too.
